First Look: 2024 Suzuki Swift Set to Launch in India, Available for Sale in UK starting Next Month
The 2024 Suzuki Swift, set to launch in the UK and Republic of Ireland in April 2024, is expected to hit the Indian market soon. The new model showcases a fresh design, improved technology, and a new engine.
The interior of the Swift takes inspiration from the Baleno, featuring a new instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and LED headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lamps. The exterior boasts 16-inch alloy wheels, with diamond-cut versions available in higher variants.
Along with a host of features like navigation, rear view camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, and more, the new Swift is powered by a Z12E, three-cylinder engine, promising increased fuel efficiency and torque in the lower rev range. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and CVT automatic, with India likely to get a 5-speed AMT variant.
Suzuki has retained the iconic silhouette of the Swift while enhancing the overall design. With a 12V mild hybrid system for improved fuel economy and NVH level improvements, the 2024 Swift is poised to make a mark in the hatchback segment. Stay tuned for its release in India.
