Former Congress leaders in Punjab join BJP

In a significant development, several ex-Congress leaders from Punjab’s Patiala district joined the BJP, led by Patiala MP Preneet Kaur in Chandigarh, in the presence of Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar and state in-charge Vijay Rupani. Impressed by PM Modi’s policies, they expressed their confidence in the party’s people-centric approach.

Preneet Kaur stated, “Impressed by the pro-people policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, the people of Punjab are regularly joining the BJP by leaving other parties.” She expressed her honor to be a part of the BJP and welcomed the new members from Patiala district.

The Punjab BJP unit, led by Sunil Jakhar and Vijay Rupani, is dedicated to winning the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with hard work. Jakhar mentioned that people are disillusioned with the Aam Aadmi Party’s falsehoods and are likely to reject them in the elections. He welcomed the new members, including Preneet Kaur, who visited the state office for the first time after joining the BJP.

Sunil Jakhar highlighted the BJP’s commitment to ensure India’s progress and development, citing PM Modi’s successful leadership over the past decade. He emphasized the trust that 140 crore Indians have in the party, evident from the increasing number of people joining the BJP daily. This solidifies the party’s strength and support among the masses.
