MoS Shripad Naik claims Congress failed to develop the country

In a recent address at a workers’ meeting in his North Goa constituency, Union Minister of State for Tourism Shripad Naik criticized the Congress party for their lack of development initiatives during their extended term in power. Naik, the BJP’s candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, highlighted the failure of the Congress party to fulfill promises of progress and poverty alleviation during their rule.

Naik emphasized the importance of utilizing the political platform for the betterment of society, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to repeal outdated British-era laws in favor of new legislation that benefits the people. He praised PM Modi’s focus on making India self-sufficient and noted visible results of development since the BJP came to power in 2014.

Notably, Naik credited PM Modi’s dedication for India’s rise as the fifth-largest economy in the world. He expressed gratitude to the people of his constituency for their support across five terms and voiced confidence in securing victory in the upcoming elections. The remarks by Naik serve as a reflection of the BJP’s stance on the progress made under PM Modi’s leadership, contrasting it with the perceived stagnation during the Congress rule for over six decades.
