Popular Bhojpuri actor and Samajwadi Party candidate Kajal Nishad was rushed to a Lucknow hospital due to health issues. She fainted during an event, was dehydrated, and later experienced chest pain and a suspected heart attack. She is contesting for the Gorakhpur Sadar Lok Sabha seat.
Kajal Nishad, known for her work in TV shows like Lapataganj, entered politics in 2012. Despite setbacks, she continued her journey and is now contesting against BJP MP Ravi Kishan in Gorakhpur. The party has informed Akhilesh Yadav about her condition as she continues her campaign amid health challenges.
Her husband Sanjay Nishad stated, “She was experiencing some issues with her blood pressure and heart. We are taking her to Lucknow.” Doctors found changes in her heart’s rhythm, indicating a heart attack. An ECG test led to her referral to Lucknow for further treatment accompanied by family and party members.
