Campaigns by SP traders for INDIA bloc candidates in Uttar Pradesh

In a bid to garner support from traders, the Samajwadi Vyapar Sabha has launched a campaign in all main markets across Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh. The campaign aims to inform traders about decisions made in their favor during previous SP governments and secure votes for INDIA bloc candidates.

State President of Samajwadi Vyapar Sabha, Pradeep Jaiswal, stated that detailed information about pro-trader initiatives under SP governments will be compiled in a book. The book will be distributed in markets by district and metropolitan organizations to rally support for INDIA bloc candidates as per Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav’s instructions.

Notable initiatives during the SP government’s tenure include abolition of the octroi system and inspector raj for traders, as well as relaxation of Section 3/7 of the Essential Commodities Act. The Akhilesh government also introduced the Free Traders Accident Insurance Scheme, highlighting their support for the business community.

This campaign by the Samajwadi Vyapar Sabha underscores the party’s efforts to strengthen its base among traders and secure their support for the upcoming elections. By highlighting past initiatives and advocating for INDIA bloc candidates, the party aims to consolidate its position in the state.
