BJP’s Madhavi Latha accuses Owaisi brothers of becoming wealthy at the expense of fellow Muslims in Battle for Hyderabad

Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency is witnessing a fierce battle between AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi and BJP’s K Madhavi Latha as General Elections approach. Latha, in an exclusive interview with IANS, revealed her party’s plans to challenge the incumbent MP and proposed changing Hyderabad’s name to ‘Bhagyanagar’ to undo ‘sins of past.’

Madhavi Latha, BJP candidate for Hyderabad, accused Asaduddin Owaisi of having ties with Congress and vowed to free land allegedly appropriated by Owaisi brothers. She criticized the Owaisis for living in a lavish bungalow while claiming to be the saviors of the Muslim community, calling them the “Ambani of Muslims.”

Latha questioned the rationale behind the Y+ security cover provided to Owaisi, highlighting his focus on Muslim-dominated areas during his campaign. She emphasized the need for inclusive development that benefits all communities, citing equal rights for women and access to education for all children, regardless of religion.

The BJP nominee praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the party’s inspiration and strength, likening him to Lord Hanuman. She emphasized the benefits of government schemes for all, including Muslim women. Latha described herself as ‘Lady Singham,’ committed to exposing lies and upholding the truth at all times.

Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat, historically a stronghold of Owaisi’s party, has elected him as MP four times, following in the footsteps of his father, Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi. The constituency, with a population of around 20 lakh, remains a key battleground as the elections draw near.
