Happy Birthday John Cena, The One Who Reigns The Wrestling History: Pics, Videos And More
The man who have his tagline as, ‘you can’t see me’ and which has become a fan favorite by now, turns 45 today and fans cannot keep their excitement contained. He’s a 16-time World Champion, New York Times best-selling author, and Make-A-Wish granter with a world-record number of wishes granted.
Since his initial step into a WWE ring nearly two decades ago, he’s created a hit album, appeared in blockbuster films, and upheld the WWE torch. If you can’t see John Cena at this moment, it’s likely because you aren’t watching.
Cena’s ascension to the top of the wrestling world was lightning fast. He clinched the Ultimate Pro Wrestling heavyweight championship the same year he made his debut, attracting the attention of the WWE. He then joined the Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) promotion, which was at the time a WWE training facility.
Cena began appearing in WWE events after winning the OVW heavyweight championship in 2002. He began his career in the SmackDown division. He entered the Raw division after capturing the WWE championship in 2005, which not only showcases the most prominent wrestlers but also generates more extensive narrative lines.
Some Of His Literary Works
Elbow Grease, Cena’s first children’s book about a monster truck, was released in 2018. ‘Elbow Grease vs. Motozilla’ (2019) and ‘Fast Friends’ (2019) are two additional books in the franchise he’s written since then (2020). He released the self-help books ‘Be a Work in Progress: ‘And Other Things I’d Like to Tell My Younger Self and Do Your Best Every Day to Do Your Best Every Day: ‘Encouraging Words from John Cena’ in 2021, the latter being aimed towards children’s literature.
Cena, far from being a one-hit wonder, established a base on the summit and refused to leave, issuing an open challenge to everyone who felt they could beat him: “You want some, come get some.” And, slowly but steadily, Cena — preaching an ethos of “Hustle, Loyalty, Respect” — not only gathered a legion of “Cenation” fans, but also stockpiled enough hardware to fill a Home Depot.
