The state government has imposed a lockdown in several districts in view of the huge increase in cases of corona infection in Maharashtra. At the same time, night curfew has been announced in Balaghat and Chhindwara districts bordering Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The night curfew will remain in force from 10 am to 6 am.

Balaghat District Collector Deepak Arya issued an order on Tuesday. It was told that this decision has been taken due to increasing cases of corona in Maharashtra. The District Magistrate has directed people to strictly observe social distance and strictly follow corona rescue rules including wearing masks. Action will be taken against those who do not follow the corona rescue rules. According to the order, it will be mandatory to seek approval from the administration for public programs etc.

These instructions were given in the order

No more than 5 or more people will gather in the entire revenue range of the district. Legal action will be taken if more than five people are found in one place.

Nightly curfew has been implemented from 10 am to 6 am. Without any valid reason, no one will be seen on the streets outside the house at this time. Unprovoked traffic is completely banned.

Emphasis is being laid on following the guide line of Kovid 19 for prevention and protection from corona infection. Instructions have been issued to the businessman, the common man, to follow the physical distance and compulsorily apply masks upon exiting the houses.

For any kind of public event or fair, the permission of the Sub Divisional Magistrate has to be obtained. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that all possible measures will be taken to prevent corona infection in the state.
