Renowned TV Star, Johnny Wactor Killed by Three Thieves on Saturday; Investigation Continues 

A renowned US television actor, Johnny Wactor, who starred in the longest-running TV serial “General Hospital” giving over 200 appearances, was killed on Saturday, reported TMZ

On Sunday, Scarlett, Wactor’s mother, told TMZ that Johnny, her son, was shot dead in the wee hours of Saturday morning. This incident occurred in downtown Los Angeles. 

Scarlett claimed that Johnny was with one of his colleagues when the incident occurred. The duo noticed three individuals, allegedly thieves tampering with Johnny’s car. They were trying to steal a catalytic converter from the vehicle. 

When the actor approached the thieves, they fired at him. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting occurred around 3 a.m. on Saturday. 

Police added that the three suspects drove away immediately from the scene. Wactor was immediately transferred to the hospital, where he passed away. 

As of late Sunday, no updates on the arrest of the suspects were announced by the police. 

David Shaul, Wactor’s agent, said that the 37-year-old was “a real moral example to everyone who knew him.”

He added,

“In the highs and lows of a challenging profession he always kept his chin up and kept striving for the best he could be. Our time with Johnny was a privilege we would wish on everyone. He would literally give you the shirt off his back. After over a decade together, he will leave a hole in our hearts forever.”

He added.
