Sai Sudarshan Takes astounding Catch, Crowned ‘Impact Fielder of the ODI Series’ Medal After SA vs IND 3rd ODI 2023 (Watch Video)

It was a seesaw contest between India and the Proteas team in the ODI series which was being held in South Africa. The men in blue had registered a commanding win in the first ODI but the South African Team made a sensational comeback and the score was even. Much depended on the Third ODI which was to be the decider in the three-match series. Again the men in blue rose like a phoenix and registered a thumping win of 78 runs in the final ODI.

However, the most significant feat notwithstanding the ‘2-1’ win against South Africa was batter Sai Sudharsan who bagged the ‘Impact Fielder of the ODI Series’ medal for taking an astounding catch in the third ODI which was held at the Boland Park in Paarl on Thursday. Sanju Samson and Arshdeep Singh played very well and helped India clinch the ODI series against the South Africans

Showering accolades on three players KL Rahul, Sai Sudharsan, and Sanju Samson who were the contenders for the award Indian fielding coach Ajay Ratra picked Sai Sudarshan for his brilliant efforts. His decision was also favored by Indian skipper Rahul who insisted that Sai deserved the award.
