Samantha discusses shooting ‘Citadel-Honey Bunny’ challenges as her strength decreases by 50%

Mumbai, March 28 (IANS) Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared her experience of working on the Indian adaptation of ‘Citadel’, titled ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’. The actress revealed that she was at her weakest while training for the role, with her strength decreasing by 50 per cent.

During training for ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, Samantha had to maintain a calorie deficit to allow her body enough time to heal. She mentioned, “It was a long process and it was quite difficult.” The actress took a year’s break as she was diagnosed with the auto-immune disease Myositis.

The Indian adaptation ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ is created by Raj & DK and also features actors Sikandar Kher, Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem, and Emma Canning. Samantha’s dedication to the role despite facing health challenges showcases her commitment to her craft and the project.
