Tiger Penis Soup and Its Impact on Wildlife Conservation

The infamous tiger penis soup has been gaining a lot of notoriety in the media lately.

According to centuries-old Asian cultural beliefs, this soup is quite beneficial for improving sexual health. It not only enhances sexual performance but also provides inner strength to combat stress and mood swings.

As the soup has started to attract attention from various sections of society, it should be noted that many scientific research studies have shown that eating animal private parts does not increase testosterone levels in humans.

However, the soup remains popular in Asian countries like Korea, Vietnam, China, and Cambodia, where it is believed to boost sexual hormones.

How Tiger Penis Soup is prepared ?

Tiger penis soup is prepared by boiling a tiger’s penis with various herbs and spices. In countries like Vietnam and China, it is regarded as a status symbol due to its availability and the expense associated with it.

Many animal rights activists worldwide do not support the consumption of such soup, as it requires killing an endangered species.

Moreover, due to the growing popularity of penis soup, it has become dangerous for Indian tigers.

According to top conservationists and scientists at the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), 71% of poached tigers are male, primarily targeted for their penises.

S.P. Goyal, an emeritus scientist at the Wildlife Institute of India, states,

“In fact, the situation is such that fake tiger penis products are often smuggled out from India to other parts and several fake samples have landed in WII laboratories”

This has promoted illegal hunting activities worldwide for tigers. Although the government has attempted various measures to control the poaching and hunting of wild animals, it still faces many challenges.

Many new alternatives and substitutes are available in the market to boost sexual health and increase libido. Opting for tiger penis soup only affects wildlife conservation.
