Bhavish Aggarwal is the founder of Ola cabs. He was born in Punjab on 28 August 1985. Bhavish did his bachelor’s in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.

Bhavish was on a business tour from Bangalore to Bandipur. He hired a car which the cab driver stopped on the way and started demanding more money than agreed. When he refused to pay the money, the driver abandoned him on the way. Bhavish realized that this was the problem faced by many other travelers and at this movement, an idea of Ola Cab struck him.
