Bulli Bai App Case Full Story: What is Bully Bai App Case? A controversial App targeting Muslim Women

Bulli Bai App Case is the most trending topic of New Year’s first week. The topic has gained the attraction of millions of people. However, even yet only a few people know what exactly Bulli Bai App Case is all about? and why this topic has so many controversies? In this article, we will help you understand the full case timeline-wise.

Actually, during the New Year weekend, social media platform Twitter was flooding with photos of several women (especially Muslims) with the captions “Your Bulli Bai of the day is ….” and mentioning hashtags like #BulliDeals #SulliDeals #BulliBai.

Surprisingly, these girls or women do not even know how their photos are getting viral on social media. The more surprising thing is that with the use of these captions and hashtags Indian Muslim women were put up on auction on the online platform.

What is Bulli Bai App Case?

Bulli Bai is an app developed by a group of Indians with the idea of putting Hindu and mostly Muslim women on online auctions by tricking people and gaining profits.

I think you would be thinking that through this App, one would get women in exchange for money. There’s not even a single case of this type that has been registered yet.

Actually, these type of Apps steals photos of girls and women from Social Media Platforms and list them on their Apps on open-source software like GitHub for Fake Online Auction.

Although there were very few online users of this app, after being trended on Twitter, this app went viral on sight and has become the cause of mental harassment of Muslim women and girls.

Nowadays, these types of incidents have become very common, but due to less cybercrime awareness posting photos of girls by editing them on social media, writing comments against them and trolling women on some issues, all this is considered related to entertainment, and these types of cases didn’t get the limelight.
