Ayan Mukherjee’s “Brahmastra”: A Guide To The Astraverse, From Vanarastra To Nandi Astra

Alia Bhatt uploaded a video discussing the “vision” that Ayan Mukerji has for his upcoming movie, “Brahmastra“. “The Vision of Brahmastra,” she titled the picture. Ayan, who is best known for directing movies like “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani”, is seen discussing the plot of Brahmastra, which takes place in antiquity.

According to Ayan, the movie is predicated on the idea of “astras” or The Astraverse. They contain asteroids like Jalastra, Nandi Astra, Prabhastra, Pawan Astra, and Vanarastra, which have natural energies like fire, earth, wind, and water. A person is given the strength of a “divine” monkey by vanarastra. A person may receive the strength of 1,000 bulls, etc., from the Nandi Astra.

All About “Brahmastra”

The “Brahmastra”, however, which contains the substance of all astral, is the ultimate Astra. The movie begins in contemporary India as Ayan discusses how the strength of Brahmastra has been passed down through the family. The leading man, Ranbir Kapoor, possesses the ability of the strongest “Astra,” the fire “Astra.” Since the picture is the first in a trilogy, Ayan claims, “I suppose this makes our movie quite distinctive.” Isha is played by Alia, and Shiva by Ranbir.

The movie, which hits theatres on September 9, gets further insights in the 4-minute clip. Watch the following video.

Ayan also shared the footage and a description of the movie on Instagram. He noted: “Even though Brahmastra is a fictional work, I tried to express Indian spirituality in my unique way through this film. On this very important day of Guru Purnima, I intended to go a bit more in-depth into the idea of Brahmastra, a film that I personally discovered turning me into a lifelong student of the vast wisdom contained in our ancient Indian origins. I hope our creativity entertains you all!” and the hashtag “astraverse” was added.

Other Famous Casts In The Movie

Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna are also featured in Brahmastra. Playing the villain is Mouni Roy. In April, Alia posted a picture of her and Ranbir from the movie along with the words “Love & Light” and a red love emoji. This is Alia and her husband Ranbir’s first joint project.
