To all the people who travel between Delhi and Noida for work purposes, we bring you exciting news. A new detailed and convenient project has been submitted by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC).
The reports suggest 4 routes. It must also be noted that the construction has already begun on the corridors. The new route will link Botanical Garden to the Magenta and Blur line along with Sector-142 on the Aqua line.
The sector-142 station will be the first of six stations of the corridor that will connect Blue and Magenta lines via Botanical Garden station, according to NMRC-affiliated sources.
As of now the 6 stations that are appearing will be Sector-136, 125, 93, 98, 91, and 94. Although few suggestions were made to alter the corridor during the panel discussion between NMRC and DMRC officers.
The route will pass through a residential area excluding the Noida Expressway as per the claims by experts. Plus, new stations will be added along with the new line.
Around 10 lakh people will benefit from the new corridor. This amount of people regularly travel on the Aqua and Magenta lines to commune. As per sources, the revised corridor can have a potential path from Sector 142 to Sectors 91, 108, 47, and 46.
NMRC MD on Noida Metro Rail Corridor Expansion
Ritu Maheshwari, the managing director of NMRC, had given instruction to revise the corridor once again so that more and more people can opt for the metro than other conveniences. Blue along with magenta are the most frequent line people use to travel directly from Noida to Delhi, Faridabad, and Gurugram. The new route will be of tremendous help to all those who had to juggle between lines just to get the desired destination.
