‘Hawkeye’ Star Jeremy Renner in ‘Critical’ Condition After Weather-related Accident

American actor Jeremy Renner, who’s widely famous for playing ‘Hawkeye‘ in the Marvel Avengers series, and ‘William Brandt in the Tom Cruise-starrer successful action franchise ‘Mission Impossible’ was recently the subject of a serious accident. 

As per the media reports, Jeremy Renner’s home is located in close proximity to Mount Road Ski Tahoe, just 25 miles away. It was snowing heavily at midnight on New Year’s Eve. In such a scenario the actor got critically injured while plowing the snow around his home. He was airlifted immediately into the medical facility and is currently receiving medical treatment in the hospital.

“We can confirm Jeremy is in “critical but stable condition” with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today. His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care,” the actor’s representative told the popular American magazine, Variety.

Renner earned a Best Actor Oscar nomination in 2010 for the war/action movie “The Hurt Locker”, and was awarded the Supporting Actor Oscar nom the following year for the crime/thriller “The Town”.
