On Tuesday, Xiaomi revealed the much-awaited Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone in China. The smartphone’s release had been eagerly expected by fans of the Chinese smartphone maker throughout 2023, with multiple reports and leaks dispersing about its design and features. Prior to its launch, Xiaomi teased interested buyers with some facts about the smartphone, including the point that it features Leica-tuned cameras with custom Summicron lenses for superior shot quality. Furthermore, the smartphone comes with a striking ‘Hibernation’ mode that optimizes battery usage when the handset’s battery drops to just 1%.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra is presented in three different colors – Green, White, and Black. It anchors with three storage choices, with the entry-level model being offered in 12GB RAM+256GB storage priced at around ₹71,600 (¥5,999). The mid-range model with 16GB RAM+512GB storage is fixed at around ₹77,500 (¥6,499), while the top-of-the-line 16GB RAM+1TB storage model is fixed at around ₹87,000 (¥7,299).

Xiaomi’s latest offering, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone, comes with double SIM card slots. The handset also offers a gigantic 6.73-inch AMOLED WQHD+ display with 3,200×1,440. Moreover, it presents a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, and a highest brightness level of 1,300 nits. The smartphone operates on MIUI 14, based on the latest Android 13.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone packs a powerful 4nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, coupled with an Adreno 740 GPU for smooth graphics performance. It also boasts impressive memory and storage options, with up to 16GB of LPPDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone’s standout features include an impressive camera system. The Leica-tuned quad-camera setup on the rear of the handset includes a 50-megapixel 1-inch IMX989 primary sensor and three 50-megapixel IMX858 supporting sensors. The camera system offers six distinct focal statures and attributes custom Summicron lenses from Leica for remarkable graphic quality.

Located in the top center of the display of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is the 32-megapixel front selfie camera, which is accommodated within a hole-punch cutout design. Along with formal camera characteristics, the handset also includes a Fast Shot mode that is particularly developed for street photography. This mode lets users seize an image in merely 0.8 seconds.

The latest handset from Xiaomi is also equipped with a powerful 5,000mAh battery that supports both 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging so that users can charge their devices quickly and efficiently.
