Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 12R Pro 5G in China on Saturday. The extensive Redmi Note 12 selection now includes a new model. Redmi Note 12 Turbo, Redmi Note 12 Pr+ 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 12 4G, and Redmi Note 12 5G, make up the lineup. According to reports, the brand-new Note 12R Pro 5G has a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC. The phone, which is a mid-range model, should soon be available in China. According to reports, the company offered the phone in three different colors and a single storage choice.

Specifications

A 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities is said to be included in the Redmi Note 12R Pro 5G. According to rumours, the phone sports a cohesive side-mounted fingerprint reader that is located next to the power key on the right edge. A 48-megapixel primary sensor alongside the 2-megapixel depth sensor is reportedly part of the Redmi Note 12R Pro 5G’s dual back camera system.

A punch-hole slit at the apex of the display, center-aligned according to the source, houses a 16-megapixel front camera. According to reports, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SOC along with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB internal storage. It is said to run MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

The Redmi Note 12R Pro was only released in the 12GB + 256GB configuration, and it costs CNY 1,999, or about Rs. 23,700. According to reports, the phone is available in White, Gold, and Black. The official release date and sales period for the smartphone have not yet been confirmed by Redmi. At the time this article was being written, the mobile device was not even mentioned on the business website.
