Noida’s Shubham Bansal becomes a topper in NEET-UG 2023, bagging AIR 16

Noida– Resident of Noida, Shubham Bansal has achieved all-India rank (AIR) 16 in the NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate). The results were announced on Tuesday. He became the only person from the state of Uttar Pradesh to be on the list of the top 20, as per the statement from the National Testing Agency (NTA). An organisation that conducts highly competitive tests in the country. 

Who is Shubham Bansal from Noida?

The resident of Noida Sector-12, Shubham Bansal completed his education in Sector-28’s Vishwa Bharti Public School. He scored 98.2% in the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) Class 12th board exam. He further added that the Covid pandemic hit when he was studying in Class 10th. During this time, he saw the dedication of medical staff and doctors and how they are working to save the patients from the virus. This motivated him to do the same by pursuing a career in medicine. “I had just started Class 10 and we were in a lockdown. I first witnessed doctors endangering their lives to save patients at that point. I decided that I would start preparing for the medical entrance exam after hearing about their service and hearing them referred to as front-line warriors,” stated Shubham. He further added that he was confident in his hard work and that he would be able to able to achieve a 715 out of 720 score. He even scored himself at 715 based on the answer key before the results were announced. He said in an interview- “I intend on pursuing a career in surgery and my aim is to study medicine at AIIMS, Delhi. Nevertheless, I had no idea that I would end up bagging AIR 16 and viewing a topper in Uttar Pradesh.
