AnTuTu Report Suggests iPhone 15 Pro Max Surpassing All its Predecessor

Apple’s iPhone 15 series which was unveiled in the 2023 event, “Wonderlust,” portrays outstanding performance with the A17 Pro SoC. This is to announce that, reportedly iPhone 15 Pro Max achieved record-breaking AnTuTu scores. The current model has even surpassed its predecessor. Thanks to hardware-accelerated ray-tracing, and console-level gaming capabilities.


As per the latest Geekbench scores, A16 Bionic has been outperformed by A17 Pro in both multi-core and single-core performance. HT Tech reported that the iPhone 15 Pro Max scored the highest with a remarkable score of 1,641,883 in the benchmark results. This was as per the latest AnTuTu scores.

In the GPU test, the device got 597,734 points. Moreover, in the CPU test, the device got 392,643 points. In this same scenario, the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which was released the previous year in 2022 managed to achieve 358,964 points in the CPU test and 466,281 points in the GPU test.

As per the report, for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the AnTuTu benchmark test was conducted with the help of the highest-tier 1TB model. The latest flagship device by Apple flaunts the cutting-edge A17 Pro SoC. The A17 Pro SoC was manufactured on a 3-nanometer process. This process of advanced fabrication has pushed Apple to incorporate more transistors which resulted in improved energy efficiency and power.

iPhone 15 Pro Max has reached the top of the iPhone rankings with its exceptionally high benchmark scores. Further highlighting part of the report was the scores of the memory department test. It excels on the same test with an amazing score of 306,164.


For the first time, the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s A17 Pro SoC has introduced a console-level gaming capability as a significant advancement. The phone’s hardware has been accelerated with ray tracing. As compared to software-based ray tracing, the company guarantees an increase in performance manifold.

It is to be noted that this improvement paves the way for intense console-level gaming and augmented reality experiences making titles like Assassin’s Creed Mirage 4, Death Stranding, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil Village on the device.
