Josh Hutcherson Tiktok Trend Goes Viral, ‘Whistle’ Becomes The Gen-Z ‘Rick Roll’

The beauty of getting rickrolled is you’d never know how and when you’ll get so. It might be a very serious video embedded with the clip, or even a tattoo inked on a person’s body which might have the QR of the video. Getting Rickrolled can seem like a dumb thing, but it’s thoroughly entertaining to see the reactions of the person getting Rickrolled.

Josh Hutcherson Tiktok Trend Has Everyone ‘Whistled’

There is a new addition to rickrolling now and frankly, it’s not the first time people have tried to surpass rickroll. We have had videos like, ‘Monday Left Me Broken’ with the cat face coming up as the video plays, we’ve also had jumpscares with creepy music.

But this time it’s a plain simple clip that will lead us to getting Rick rolled. American actor Josh Hutcherson who is famous for her role as Peeta in ‘Hunger Games’ is now engulfed in a new Tiktok trend which is called ‘Whistle’.

It started when Josh Hutcherson’s video which had a few images of him and other clips was made into a slideshow with the song, ‘Whistle’ by Joel Merry in the background. The original video that was used was posted by @MetroGirlzStation on Youtube back in the year 2014.

Now adding random clips to other videos like, peeling off a tangerine, or using the printer, or clipping nails are being used in videos to ‘Whistle’ someone.

@MetroGirlzStation found out the trend the video they created made again and showed their joy and happiness towards that. They said, “My little sister showed me all the videos on her TikTok and I think it’s hilarious what you guys have done with it.”

These videos are also referred to online as ‘Whistlegate’. So before you go through any videos on TikTok make sure you’re not a victim of the Whistlegate, the trend is so popular currently that it isn’t too rare to be ‘Whistled’ easily.
