She has been in the spotlight for quite some years now. Her first performance that rose her to fame was the Disney show “Bizaardvark”, and “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”.

All About Olivia Rodrigo’s Debut Album ‘Sour’

In 2020, Olivia Rodrigo started producing songs.

Her debut song was titled ‘Drivers License’, and within 24 hours of its release, the music was tagged as Spotify’s most heard in a day, breaking all records. ‘

However, that song comes with a grave backstory behind it which contains her ex Joshua and Sabrina Carpenter. Olivia started dating her co-actor from ‘High School Musical’, Joshua Bassett, in 2019 or 2020. Allegedly, after their breakup, Joshua started seeing Sabrina.

‘Drivers License’ was about the breakup and it broke many records.

But Olivia Rodrigo was in luck as a week later she released ‘Deja Vu’, which also broke records by hitting Billboard’s most heard list, her being the first artist to join the most heard artist list.

Later, she released ‘Good 4 U’ in May 2021, which also joined hands with the ones in Hot 100s list.

This all constituted her album titled ‘Sour’.

But fans started hearing the resemblance between her songs and TS’s, which led to many rumors and conspiracies online where people considered Olivia was copying off Taylor’s music by figuring out the stark resemblance between ‘Deja Vu’ and ‘Cruel Summer’.

After all this, Olivia Rodrigo gave up 50% of her royalties just to space a huge legal hit and succumbed to a loss.
