Truckers waiting for payment for containers used in Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra

Truck owners in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh have held back containers from Rahul Gandhi’s rally as they haven’t been paid. The truckers have sought help from the local police to resolve the issue and ensure payment of their dues.

A group of truck owners in Bulandshahr have taken action against the non-payment of their dues related to containers used in Rahul Gandhi’s rally last year. The truckers have written to the local police seeking assistance in getting their payment which amounts to lakhs of rupees.

The aggrieved truckers, including Moti Singh, Satyendra Singh, Dharmendra Singh, and Ram Krishan, have retained 25 containers belonging to transporters Manoj Kumar of Haridwar Transport Service in Delhi and Anil Kaushik. They are demanding their rightful payment before returning the containers.

According to sources, the transporters claim that the Congress has not paid them for the containers used in Rahul’s rally. The truck owners have threatened to take legal action if their payment is not made promptly, highlighting their frustration over the issue.

When reached for a comment, a UPCC spokesperson stated that they were not aware of the situation and recommended contacting party leaders in Delhi for further clarification on the matter. The truckers are now hoping for a resolution to their payment issue before escalating the matter to the courts.
