In fact, recently, a joint statement of the two countries came at the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) level regarding ceasefire. During this time both countries agreed to strictly follow the ceasefire in all the agreements and other sectors along with the LOC. It was said that new rules on ceasefire. But now Pakistan seems to be reversing its words.

Pakistan says that talks and joint statements at DGMO level on 25 February 2021 does not mean that he has retreated from its old stand. These agreements will be able to last for a long time only when India returns the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir. India should again give full state status to Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan believes that the case of Kashmir is in the Security Council of the United Nations.

According to Pakistan, if India makes Kashmir a state again, then other bilateral issues will be better discussed between the two countries. At the same time, Pakistan has also said that India should not understand that the agreement on the ceasefire is due to any pressure or weakness.

Let me tell you that Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh have been made separate union territories through a bill in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha on 5 August 2019. Also, many provisions of article 370 have also been abolished.

Lt. Gen. Paramjit Singh of the Indian Army and his Pakistani counterpart had held talks through the hotline which discussed several agreements including ceasefire violations, ceasefire. The two countries issued a joint statement regarding the situation of the LOC.
