Airtel Payments Bank launches DigiGold, now buy 24-carat gold from Airtel Thanks App

Airtel Payments Bank on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya introduced ‘DigiGold’ for its customers to invest in gold on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. The company has introduced DigiGold in association with SafeGold, a company providing gold in digital form. Airtel Payments Bank said in a statement that the savings account customers of Airtel Payments Bank with ‘Digi Gold’ can invest in 24-carat gold using the Airtel Thanks app.

Safe Gold will protect your gold

Customers DigiGold can also give gifts to their family and friends, who have a savings account with Airtel Payments Bank. According to the statement, the gold purchased by the customers will be safely held by safe gold and no additional charges will be charged for it.

Customers can sell gold at any time through a few clicks through the Airtel Thanks App. There is no minimum value for investment in it.

There will be a facility to invest through SIP as well

Airtel Payments Bank Chief Operating Officer Ganesh Ananthanarayanan said that Digi Gold is a new feature in the company’s banking activities which is completely safe and simple. He said, our customers can purchase gold with ease through digital through our app. Our SIP Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) i.e. a plan to give a fixed amount of investment every month to the customers so that they can invest regularly.

Enter your mobile number.
Go to the bank section.
Submit ID proof.
Verify OTP.

Recently, Airtel Payments Bank increased its savings deposit limit to 2 lakh rupees as per RBI guidelines. The bank is now paying 6% interest on deposits between Rs 1 to 2 lakhs.
