Ayodhya: Ram temple to be built on 107 acres

Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthkshetra Trust has purchased 7,285 sq ft of land next to the proposed complex. The decision to purchase the land is part of the ambitious plan to increase the premises of the proposed Ram temple in Ayodhya from 70 acres to 107 acres. This new land is adjacent to 70 acres of land given for the construction of the Ram temple under the Supreme Court’s decision in November 2019.

The trust has purchased this land from the local resident Deep Narayan and for this, the trust has paid Rs 1 crore. At the same time, Deep Narayan has also signed the registry of his 7,285 sq ft land in favor of Champat Rai, secretary of Ram Mandir Trust.

A member of the trust said, “The price of this land is around Rs. 1,373 per sq ft.” With this purchase, the trust has helped speed up the process of acquiring the land adjacent to the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. The trust is in talks with the owners of temples, houses, and open land adjacent to this campus to buy the rest.

Trustee Anil Mishra said, “We need more space for our Ram temple project, that’s why we bought this land.” Explain that the main temple will be constructed on 5 acres of land. In the remaining 100 acres of land, various facilities such as the museum, library, Yagya shall, and picture galleries will be made to depict various events of the life of Lord Rama.
