Balika vadhu fame Surekha Sikri passes away at 75

Renowned actress Surekha Sikri has passed away. According to the information, she breathed her last due to cardiac arrest at the age of 75. There is a wave of mourning in the Hindi TV world due to the sudden demise of Surekha, who played the role of Dadi Sa in the famous serial Balika Vadhu. National Film Award winner Surekha Sikri breathed her last in Mumbai.

Her death has been confirmed by the manager. The manager told the media that it is a matter of sadness that Surekha is no more. Surekha Sikri aka Dadi Sa passed away this morning at the age of 75. She was in a lot of trouble after the second brain stroke. After the brain stroke, Surekha was not having a rapid effect of treatment. She had been in the hospital for a long time. Her lungs were filled with water and the medicines were not having the effect they should have. The clot formed due to brain stroke was removed through treatment.

Surekha Sikri had suffered a brain stroke twice. In the first year of 2018 had a brain stroke. Due to this Surekha had paralysis. She was fine but could not do much work. Due to this, her financial condition had deteriorated. According to reports, Surekha Sikri’s one month’s cost of medicines was more than Rs 2 lakh. At the same time, due to Coronavirus, actors above 65 years of age were banned. At that time too, Surekha Sikri had expressed displeasure.

Born on 19th April 1945 in Delhi, Surekha Sikri has wowed her skills from the big screen to the small screen. She made his acting debut in 1978 with the political drama film ‘Kissa Kursi Ka’. Apart from Hindi, she also appeared in Malayalam films. She won three National Awards and Filmfare Awards. In the show ‘Balika Vadhu’, Surekha played the role of a tough grandmother-in-law, due to which she got recognition from house to house.
