On Wednesday, there was a jump in the number of people infected with the coronavirus in India. 42,625 new cases of Covid-19 came in a day while 562 people died.

According to the Ministry of Health, the number of infected in the country has increased to 3,17,69,132. Out of these, 3,09,33,022 people have defeated the pandemic. So far 4,25,757 people have lost their lives due to Coronavirus in India.

5,395 active cases increased in 24 hours: In the last 24 hours, 5,395 active cases of coronavirus increased in the country.
At the same time, treatment of 4,10,353 people is still going on.

The highest number of new patients found in Kerala: 23 thousand 676 new cases of corona infection were reported in Kerala on Tuesday. The test positivity rate also increased to 11.87% in the state. While 6,005 new cases of the corona were registered in Maharashtra.

Only one new case of Covid-19 has been reported in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the last 24 hours, taking the number of infected here to 7,540.
