Increasing cases of coronavirus have now posed a major threat across the country. Due to this, there has been a lack of oxygen across the country, while hospitals in the capital Delhi are constantly demanding oxygen. Some hospitals say that they have oxygen left for a few hours. Regarding this, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has asked the Center to give oxygen to Delhi immediately. Kejriwal said that the condition has become serious due to a lack of oxygen.

‘Oxygen left for a few hours

Delhi CM Kejriwal wrote on Twitter that, severe oxygen crisis has happened in Delhi. I again appeal to the Central Government to provide oxygen to Delhi with immediate effect. There are some hospitals where oxygen is left for a few hours.

Earlier, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia also told how the situation is becoming serious. He told that SOS calls are coming from many hospitals. In which it is being told that there is no oxygen. Sisodia said,

“SOS phones are coming from all hospitals regarding oxygen. People supplying are being stopped in different states. The Central Government will have to be very sensitive and active for this so that there is no jungle raj between the states on the supply of oxygen.

Speaking to NDTV, the chairman of Delhi’s Gangaram Hospital told a few hours ago that he had only 8 hours of oxygen left. He said that there has been a shortage of oxygen since yesterday. Its consumption is very high. He told that somehow we are managing, but oxygen will be needed soon.
