History

As many of you know, back in the 17th and 18th centuries, Africans were sold into slavery to American colonies where they were forced to work heavy labor and production of cotton and tobacco. Back in 1985, the U.N. Working Group on Slavery submitted a proposal of considering the 2nd December as World Day for the Abolition of Slavery.
