Maharashtra Crisis Live: Rebel Eknath Shinde Claims 50 MLAs Back Him, 40 From Shiv Sena

Maharashtra Crisis has been a very thing that is currently the topic of rapid fire. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Thursday encouraged dissident MLAs who have been camped in Guwahati to travel to Mumbai and address their concerns with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray as the constitutional turmoil in Maharashtra worsened.

The Shiv Sena, according to Raut, is willing to “discuss departing out of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) if this is the will of all the MLAs,” but only under one circumstance: the rebel MLAs must speak to CM Uddhav Thackeray immediately and tackle the topic.

The Congress has arranged for a leadership meeting to be held at the Sahyadri guest home in Mumbai shortly following Sanjay Raut’s MVA departure statement. The key conference is expected to be attended by senior Congress officials HK Patil, Balasaheb Thorat, Nana Patole, and Ashok Chavan.

Eknath Shinde, a rebel Shiv Sena member, published a message to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray with the tagline, “This is the sentiment of MLAs.” The statement claims that the Shiv Sena officials haven’t had entrance to the chief minister’s home.

Interestingly, 42 Maharashtra MLAs are gathered with Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde, whereas only 13 are with Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. 34 Shiv Sena MLAs and 8 Independent MLAs make up the 42 rebel MLAs. They were allegedly captured and transferred to Surat, according to Shiv Sena MLA Kailash Patil.
