Mumbai: Coronavirus rules violations will be heavy, FIR will be lodged, wearing masks mandatory

Authorities in the state capital have issued several guidelines to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Which includes filing cases against those who violate the Home Quarantine Rules and sealing the building. On Thursday, 736 new patients appeared in Mumbai, while three people died.

The total number of infected in Mumbai has increased to 316,487. At the same time, 11,432 people have lost their lives due to the Coronavirus. There are 4,782 active cases in the city. Talking about Maharashtra, more than five thousand cases were reported in the state on Thursday, which is the highest number since December 4. With 5,427 cases reported on Thursday, the total number of infected people in the state has risen to 2,081,520 while 51,669 people have died.

Corona infects to be stamped in Mumbai, buildings will be sealed

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to tighten the rules again as Coronavirus cases in the country’s financial capital Mumbai escalate. Now buildings and floors will be sealed, asymptomatic patients will be sealed, dozens of high-risk contacts will be monitored and action will be taken against those who do not apply masks. Chahal held a meeting through video conferencing. Giving information about the meeting, an official said, ‘Most of the instructions are the same which we were following during the early days of Coronavirus. We will once again seal societies where more than five positive cases are detected and asymptomatic patients will be stamped. If the asymptomatic patient is found to be walking on the road in violation of Home Quarantine rules, strict action will be taken against him and an FIR will be lodged. It will be mandatory to wear masks in Mumbai ‘

The statement said that 38 infected people died due to Coronavirus, after which the death toll has reached 51,669. It states that 2,543 patients a day have been discharged from different hospitals. After this, the number of people who got infection-free has increased to 19,87,804. He informed that 40,858 people are undergoing treatment for infection in the state.
