According to reports, in December 2020 last year, an NGO named Avesta Foundation, Naz Patel filed a complaint against Myntra’s logo. According to Naz Patel, Myntra’s logo is abusive towards women. Naaz demanded action against the e-commerce firm and asked for the logo to be changed.

He exposed the issue on social media and soon the attention of the people started getting more attention. The NGO has decided to change its current logo following a complaint filed by a worker. The complainant alleged that the fashion e-retailer’s logo was derogatory and objectionable towards women, following which the Mumbai cyber police met officials of the e-commerce firm. The company reportedly said that it needed a month to change the logo.

Rashmi Karandikar, DCP, Mumbai Cyber ​​Crime Department, said that we found that the logo was disrespectful to women by nature. After the complaint, we sent an email to Myntra and their officials came and met us. Officials said they would replace the logo in a month.
