POCO launches M-series: Poco M5 and M5s, Know about its Price, Specifications, and Availability

Poco recently launched two of his phones in the most competitive budget-friendly smartphone category. The M-series contains the Poco M5 & the Poco M5s.

The Poco M5 contains MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, a 90Hz display, a 5,000mAh battery, and a triple camera setup. Whereas the M5s Helio G95 chip, has an AMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery, and a quad-camera system. 

Poco M5 Specifications

The advanced Poco M5 has a DCI-P3 color gamut with a waterdrop-style notch cutout for clicking a selfie. It has a 6.58-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display

The phone is powered by an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 SoC pairing it with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. When it comes to M5 storage it has 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. 

As for its camera, it comes with a triple rear camera 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. Its front camera is of 8MP selfie camera sensor. 

It has 5G Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band WiFi, an Infrared blaster, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C.

Availability and offers

It has been offered at Rs 12,499 for the base i.e 4GB + 64GB variant. Along with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model priced at Rs 14,499. The model will be available to the public from 13th September including on Flipkart too. 

If you purchase it through ICICI and Axis Bank cards then you can get a flat discount of Rs 1,500. Plus they are offering a 1-year subscription to Disney+ Hotstar 

Poco M5s

The M5s is a higher-tiered variant in M-series that Poco has launched. The phone comes with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display.

Poco M5s hasn’t been launched in India but will likely find its place in the Indian market in the next few weeks. Internationally, the phone is available in three options- The 4GB + 64GB is priced at EUR 209 or Rs 16,500. The 4GB + 128GB is at EUR 229 and Rs 18,100. The 6GB + 128GB is at EUR 249/Rs 19,700.
