Police claimed that three out of the four Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists, who killed the policeman Ramaiz Raja, who was posted in BJP Leader Anwar Khan’s security, are killed by Security Forces during an Encounter.
The terrorists were hiding in the Gath Mohalla area of Kakapora in Pulwama district of South Kashmir. The three terrorists were by security forces one after the other in the ongoing encounter in the early hours of the morning. Meanwhile, some mischievous elements also pelted stones at the security forces to influence the encounter. Two civilians have been injured in this. The injured also include a girl.

A senior police officer said that he received information early in the morning that some terrorists had been seen in Gath Mohalla of Kakapora. A joint contingent of SOG, Army’s 50 RR and CRPF reached the area and started a siege. At the same time, when the terrorists saw the security forces coming towards them, they started firing.
The army asked the hidden militants to surrender several times but they did not accept and continued of the firing.
A senior police official claimed that they were the same terrorists who had attacked the BJP leader’s house in Naugam Srinagar last Thursday. They have received definite information about this. Police have taken the bodies of the three terrorists in their possession. A large amount of arms and ammunition has also been recovered from the site of the encounter.

On Thursday, four terrorists dressed as women dressed in burqas, opened fire at the house of BJP leader Anwar Khan in Nowgam, Srinagar, and opened fire. In this attack, a policeman posted at the house of the BJP leader was martyred.
The terrorists escaped after quick retaliation by other security personnel. During this time, he also took the rifle of the martyred policeman with him. The police officer said that after the operation is over, the rifle taken from the martyred policeman will also be recovered.
