Delhi’s Vada Pav Girl, real name Chandrika Gera Dixit, gained national recognition after her videos started trending on various social media platforms. Her reels and videos have spread like wildfire, attracting a huge crowd to her Vada Pav stall.

However, things recently took a different turn when a video of her getting into an ugly fight started to go viral on the internet. The viral clip shows her, along with her mother, fighting a mob on the streets of Delhi in daylight.

The clip shows Vada Pav Girl engaging in a verbal spat with the people while others can be seen recording the fight through their mobile phones. While her mother is sitting on an electric scooter and supporting her in the dispute, she can be seen yelling at the crowd.

‘Jisne tereko bheja hai uski video bana’ (Make a video of the one who sent you), she says, trying to enter the crowd.

She can also be seen abusing the crowd during the dispute. As the situation starts to worsen, she flees away with her mother on her scooter. The crowd can be heard laughing at her as she escapes the situation.

At one time, things get ugly when she gets into a physical fight with a woman. Both of them are cursing and yelling at each other, launching vicious attacks towards one another. People start to gather around them while making a video on their phones.

Although, soon some men come to separate both of them from one another. Angry and frustrated, Vada Pav Girl yells at the woman.

The video is currently generating millions of views. Till now, there has been no update regarding whether there is any legal action or not.”

A private video allegedly featuring Prajwal Revanna, a Member of Parliament (MP) from Hassan district in Karnataka, has been leaked on the internet.

As this news began to dominate the media, his election agent filed a police complaint claiming that the videos were morphed to defame his public image and influence the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

On Tuesday, Poornachandra Tejaswi MG, the election agent for both the JD(S) and the BJP, filed a police complaint alleging that Naveen Gowda and others were responsible for the leak.

They reportedly circulated the video to voters in the Hassan Lok Sabha segment via WhatsApp, pen drives, and CDs. The FIR states:

“Naveen Gowda and others morphed videos and images and circulated them to the voters in the Hassan Lok Sabha segment through pen drives, CDs and WhatsApp to put Prajwal Revanna in bad light. These accused are going door to door and showing obscene photos and videos, provoking people not to vote for Prajwal in the Lok Sabha elections. These efforts are being made to disrupt the polling.”

In response, the police have filed a complaint under the sections of the Information Technology Act of 2008 and the Indian Penal Code.

Prajwal Revanna is the son of Holenarasipura MLA and former minister H D Revanna, and the grandson of former Prime Minister H D Devegowda. He is seeking a second term and is currently running against Congress candidate Shreyas M Patel, the grandson of G Puttaswamy Gowda.

In the 1999 Lok Sabha elections, Puttaswamy Gowda won against Devegowda on a Congress ticket. On April 26, the Hassan constituency will participate in the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

“In today’s episode of ‘What’s the point of even getting up in the morning?’ …apparently, according to The Financial Express, folks like Tanmay Bhat are worth 665 crores.”

Tanmay Bhat is the founder and former CEO of the popular comedy group AIB. He served as CEO of this Mumbai-based comedy company until its dissolution in 2019 and played a crucial role in shaping the Indian stand-up comedy scene.

He also appeared as a judge in Season 1 of Comicstaan, a stand-up comedy competition on Amazon Prime.
