Choreographer Remo D’Souza hospitalized after a heart attack

Choreographer and film director Remo D’Souza has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai after a heart attack. Remo’s wife Liz Dijusa is in the hospital with him. Remo has angiography and is in the ICU. However, film trade analyst Komal Nahata told that Remo is fine now and he is recovering.

Remo is a well known choreographer. Has choreographed in many big Bollywood films. His career started as a choreographer in 1995.

For the past few years, he is also trying his hand at directing. He has directed films like Flying Jatt, ABCD, ABCD 2 and Street Dancer. Apart from this, he has also appeared in many reality shows.

Remo D’Souza made his television debut with the dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance’. Apart from them, the show was judged by Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapoor. After this, he was also seen as a judge in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Nach Baliye and Dance Plus. Recently, he also appeared on the stage of ‘India’s Best Dancer’.

According to the film beat, Remo D’Souza never took dance training. He taught dance by watching Michael Jackson’s videos. We used to dance after seeing Michael’s dance moves. She opened her dance class Super Brats. Then people started to teach dance. During their struggle days a dance competition was held in which Remo’s team won. After this, the fate of Remo shone. He got his first chance as a dancer from the Aamir Khan and Urmila Mantodkar starrer film Rangeela. After this film, he started assisting choreographer Ahmed Khan. The turning point of his career was the item song Ishq Samandar of the film Kaante, which was a huge hit in those days.
