In Greater Noida, to be the transport and logistics hub of Delhi NCR

Recently, officials of the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority have initiated a detailed project report (DPR) that will be built for Transport Hub projects and Multimodal Logistics Hub.

A meeting was conducted with CEO Ritu Maheshwari where new ideas were discussed on the existing bid document and DPR. As per reports, these all will be finalised soon. 

According to sources, the Multimodal Transport Hub model will consist development of a bus stand, metro rail as well as rail connectivity. Also, the plans for the Greater Noida Railway terminal will be made at the Bodaki Station in order to reduce the transportation work at Anand Vihar and New Delhi. Plus, the hub will also have local buses and interstate facility too. Aqua line metro will be added to the route. The hub will also have hotels, warehouses and offices to name a few. 

Additionally, GNIDA will launch new 11 building project schemes, indicating that 10,000 buyers can purchase the property once they are completed. They have also suggested GNIDA will get the highest benefits of a minimum of Rs 938 crore. A sum of 2.41 lakh square metres is allotted in areas of Greater Noida of Sigma 3, Zeta 1, Omicron 1A, 36, 10, 12 etc. 

While talking about the residential initiative, CEO Ritu Maheshwari stated, ” The greenery in Greater Noida is the highest in the NCR…..it is also better than other cities in terms of infrastructure and connectivity.”

Lately, Greater Noida has been developing into a major industrial spot in the north region of India. A lot of companies are setting up their plant in the areas of Greater Noida as the reas is full of empty spaces with better job oppourtunity.
