Who is not in love? Everyone enjoys a cute, wholesome, and humorous relationship. Romantic comedy is exactly what you’d expect it to be in an anime. It explores relationships, partnerships, and pleasant recollections.
The protagonists may encounter humorous misconceptions and unforeseen circumstances along the road, which propel the plot forward. Despite a few minor hiccups, rom-com anime series are among my favourite anime genres because of their dramatic and comedic elements.
10 Best Rom Com Anime Series:
1. Lovely Complex
The reason Lovely Complex is at the pinnacle of my list of the best rom-com anime is that it is just well about sweetest rom-com out there. There isn’t a similar anime out there. The narrative centres on Risa Koizumi and Atsushi Otani.
These two were formerly close mates and endured a lot of bullying. Because of their stature disparity, which makes them appear rather ludicrous when compared to each other, they are the punchline in all of their friends’ comments. Even though they don’t get each other very well, they choose to assist one another in getting their affections.
2. Ouran High School Host Club
Haruhi Fujioka studies at the prestigious high school known as Ouran Academy. She unintentionally discovers a music studio that appears to be deserted, but is actually populated with male students who are amusing various girls with appetizers. The gang hires her as their courier boy when she damages an exquisite vase.
3. Itazura Na Kiss
Itazura Na Kiss is unquestionably one of the more endearing romantic comedies, making it among the top rom-coms too though. It centres on clumsy Kotoko Aihara and her admirer Naoki Irie. The sensations Kotoko feels are not returned.
4. Toradora
Ryuuji Takasu and Taiga Aisaka are the main characters of this anime. Taiga appears harmless and nice, but she is definitely rather feisty. The two ultimately come to the realisation that they have feelings on each other’s best buddies.
They choose to collaborate as a result. Viewers consider this anime to be a masterwork. It is one of the best rom-com anime series because of the distinctive chemistry between these two characters.
5. Fruits Basket
Tooru dwells alone in the jungle after the terrible death of her mother. Tooru is extended Yuki Souma and his cousin’s residence. The humorous banter and mystique of learning a hidden secret about the individuals she is staying with greatly enhances this anime, even though Tooru is still affected by the loss of her mother, which is a major plot point in this anime.
6. Oregairu
One of the best rom-com anime is Oregairu since students in high school can genuinely relate to it fairly well. Hikigaya Hachiman lacks self-confidence and exhibits occasional antisocial behaviour. He is enrolled in an organization by a teacher.
The most attractive student in the class, Yukinoshita Yukino, also belongs to this group. This organization assists and counsels other students.
7. Nisekoi
The main character of this anime is Raku Ichijou, who is a typical student. Raku is enrolled in a new school, but he long ago made a pledge to his boyhood best buddy. They agreed to get engaged after they got back together. This anime’s comedic component is really brought out by its distinctive characters.
8. Golden Time
Tada Banri disappears in a Tokyo law school. He just so actually runs with Yanagisawa Mitsuo, another confused freshman. They hit it off right away and arrive at their place. When they get there, a girl bearing roses is standing in front of them. One of the nicest rom-com animes, this one is nice.
9. Haganai
Recently, Hasegawa Kodaka changed schools. Because he appears to be a criminal, no one really desires to be his acquaintance. Why does this anime qualify as a rom-com?
He observes his easily enraged student Yozora conversing with an imagined companion. The two of them resolve to launch their own company with members who are also loners.
10. My Little Monster
Shizuku is quite cold-blooded, which distinguishes this rom-com anime from the competition. She must give Haru the supplies she has been given.
