Noida latest updates

The Noida Authority team has received a signal in order to do a detailed study of the financial models in states such as Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat and Rajasthan. As per the officials, the planning department’s general manager will be visiting states to make a report and then submitting all the models to the department. When everything is ready, the authority will present it in front of the state government for final approval.

CEO Ritu Maheshwari stated that the study will help the authority identify the best financial model for the newly acquired land. “The Noida Authority is determined to explore all options before a decision on the financial model for land acquisition in DNGIR. One way is to go on acquiring land, but we want to explore other ways of doing that,” Maheshwari stated.

The School of Planning and Architecture recently made a plan for the DNGIR but still needs to be finalised by the board. Although, the Noida Authority has a few queries related to the latest financial models that need to be resolved. The Noida Authority has recently proposed building industrial units in 4 phases over 8,811 hectares out of 21,000 hectares of the desired region.

For this, Rs 8,500 crore is required for the development of infrastructure over 3,000 hectares during the development of the first phase. During the same period, Rs 40,000 crore will be invested in the development generating jobs for almost 50,000 people. In 2023, the  Noida Authority has given Rs 1,000 crore for internal development and  land acquisition in DNGIR
