The recent Haryana Nuh violence has created havoc all over the state and nation. In the Nuh district of Haryana, clashes took place between two communities. Total 6 individuals including 4 civilians and 2 home guards lost their lives, along with more than 50 people badly injured.
Around 2:00 PM, the Vishva Hindu Parishad procession was going on, when the mobs appeared and threw stones at them to stop the procession. The group of young men blocked the roads and set several shops and cars on fire.
Following communal clashes, to contain the “intense communal tension, ” internet mobile services have been suspended in the Nuh district of Haryana temporarily. Its internet services will be restored today 2 August.
Anil Vij, Home Minister of Haryana announced that the Government has given orders for the dispatch of additional forces from the nearby surrounding districts. Anil Vij told PTI, the news agency that, “We are also trying to send forces by helicopter.”
He further added that 2500+ folks have been evacuated from the Nuh Shiva temple by Cops. Several women and Children were also evacuated safely. The majority of people among them were the devotees who went to attend the procession. Others took shelter there as the situation of Nuh worsened when the two sides clashed.
As a precautionary measure, all sorts of educational institutes were given orders to stop functioning on 1st August. The Palwal, Faridabad, and Gurugram districts were provided immense protection as a measure of precaution.
Haryana Nuh Violence Reason
Around 2:00 PM, the Vishva Hindu Parishad procession began. Post 10 minutes, the clashes between both sides started. More than Muslim 200 people in number marched towards the procession from Edward Chowk in Nuh town and threw stones continuously at the Hindus.
The Hindus fled initially, however later they came back and retaliated too. In Ballabhgarh, a Bajrang Dal activist named Monu Manesar posted an objectionable video on social media. Some reports highlight that the main trigger point of the clash was the same video.
The cow vigilante Monu Manesar whose people got viral was also supposed to join the procession. However, his absence was witnessed throughout the procession.
In February, Monu Manesar was accused of the murder of two Muslim men, whose bodies later got uncovered in the Bhiwani district.
