Lucy Letby is a former neonatal nurse and a serial killer who was born on 4 January 1990 and has a history of killing or attempting to kill infants from 2015-16. In 2018, she was arrested because of frequent infant deaths that occurred between 2015 June and 2016 June. All the death cases of infants were reported in the Chester Hospital in Chester.
Since 2011, Lucy Letby has been working as a neonatal nurse in the same hospital. However, she again got arrested in June 2019 after being released free on bail. In 2020 November when the number of deaths of infants again rose at the Chester Hospital, she was arrested again. Her trial lasted from 2022 October to August 2023.
