Jakeira Washington lost her life in a fiery single-car accident on Grelot Road near the entrance to Cimarron Ridge Apartments in Mobile. The incident took place early on January 15, 2024. Mobile Fire-Rescue responded to the scene just before 4 a.m., finding Jakeira’s vehicle overturned and on fire. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The exact cause of the crash is under investigation by the Mobile Police Department.

Jakeira Washington, a 23-year-old health care professional and native of Sweet Water, Alabama, had a promising career.
