Tara Reade, Accuser of Biden, Sues DOJ, Seeks Millions for Alleged ‘FBI Operation’

Explore Tara Reade's legal battle, alleging misconduct by Joe Biden, FBI operations, and her pursuit of justice.

Tara Reade, the former Senate staffer, accused Joe Biden of sexually harassing her in 1993. The charge has been denied by Joe Biden, but the proceedings have become uglier with Tara now suing the Department of Justice and seeking millions of dollars as compensation for starting a witch hunt and an FBI operation against her.

Tara has accused the DOJ of employing double standards and trying to lock up peaceful protestors in jails. As proof, the panel pointed to the fact that an unspecified number of protestors were pronounced guilty after they started a protest outside an abortion center in Tennessee.

Tara Reade accused Joe Biden of sexual assault when he was a Senator in 1993. Tara recalls that she was working in Joe Biden’s office when he pinned her to the wall, reached under her skirt, and penetrated her with his fingers. Tara Reade repeated her charges in 2020, and just like the first time, Joe Biden denied the allegations.

Tara Reade Seeks $10 Million in Damages

Reade’s attorney, Jonathan Levy, in a tort claim on January 31, 2024, Wednesday sought $10 million as damages for the emotional trauma and anxiety she had to endure after an FBI operation, which was initiated after Reade charged Joe Biden with sexual misconduct.

The suit specified that Tara Reade’s Fourth Amendment right was violated. The suit also claimed that violations also happened under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) and state privacy laws. The lawsuit also laid bare how, in July 2020, a directive was issued to Twitter by a grand jury to furnish details about her Twitter accounts.

The tort claim also pointed out suspect events like disruptions in Reade’s bank accounts, and also the original manuscripts of her book in which she had first put forth her accusations against Joe Biden were missing.

Reade’s attorney, Jonathan Levy, compared the two situations and said that if President Trump and Mr. Giuliani can be assessed tens of millions in damages, why the same yardsticks should not be applied for damages caused by an FBI that seeks to frighten and silence Joe Biden’s victim. The FBI operation was codenamed ‘Cassandra,’ and its sole aim was to intimidate Tara discredit her and, if possible, remove her as a threat to Joe Biden. The secret operation was ordered by FBI Director Christopher Wray, and as a fallout of this investigation, Reade had to seek asylum in Russia fearing for her life.

Her case was also suppressed by Congressional investigators, and to shield Joe Biden, all the records were sealed and remain thus to this day. Reade was granted political asylum by the Russian Federation and is reportedly living in Moscow. She also gave a live press conference in May 2023 where she again accused Joe Biden of sexual misconduct. The interview was posted on Reade’s Twitter handle.”
