On February 17, Saturday, the former President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, rolled out his sneaker line.

In the wake of this, claims flooded social media that the sneakers were made in China. Thus, the news has gone viral on all the social media platforms, especially X, formerly Twitter.

Netizens took to the internet and blamed the former President for not promoting American manufacturing.

Trump’s “Never Surrender High Top Sneaker” is priced at $399.

At the gettrumpsneakers.com website, other products like cologne, perfume, and low-top shoes are also available for procurement.

Origin of “Donald Trump Sneakers Made in China” Rumors

Netizens took to X, formerly Twitter, and alleged that the “sneakers were manufactured in China.” Netizens also shared a picture of the inner collar of the shoe where the size of the sneakers was visible.

At the same place, an illegal print could be found which claimed that the sneakers were “made in China.”

Netizens who bought the sneakers went to X and alleged the same.

@Meme_WarVeteran, the X user went to the platform and shared a snapshot from a website selling a pair of gold sneakers similar to Donald Trump’s gold sneakers, where the difference between the cost of the sneakers was too high.

As many people anticipated that, the shoes were made in China, the official Donald Trump sneakers website mentioned that their latest collection “has been trademarked by West Palm Beach company CIC Ventures LLC, which is owned by Trump.”

The website has mentioned in its footer that,

“45Footwear, LLC uses the Trump name, image and likeness under a license agreement which may be terminated or revoked according to its terms.”

Michael Tyler, the spokesperson of Biden’s campaign also shared his views on the latest sneakers sold by Trump.

He said,

“Donald Trump showing up to hawk bootleg Off-Whites is the closest he’ll get to any Air Force Ones ever again for the rest of his life.”

As the first batch of 1000 pairs was sold out in less than 2 hours of release, the sneakers are currently available at the official website via placing pre-orders.
