Lauren Boebert, the US Representative’s son Tyler Jay Boebert, 18 years old only was arrested in Rifle, Colorado on Tuesday. The arrest took place on February 27, 2024, at 2:30 pm local time.
The Rifle Police Department officers arrested Tyler Jay Boebert after a “recent string of vehicle trespass and property thefts.” As the Police made the news of Tyler Jay Boebert’s arrest public, on social media, the news escalated like fire.
The news of Tyler’s arrest was shared on the official Facebook page of the police department. Charges on the 18-year-old include, “four felony counts of Criminal Possession ID Documents – Multiple Victims, one felony count of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, and over 15 additional misdemeanor and petty offenses.”
The police officials confirmed that the investigation is in progress in their Facebook post. However, Tyler Boebert’s name has been included in the jail records of Garfield County.
The police officials on the Facebook page said, “This is an ongoing investigation, no further information will be released at this time. All suspects are considered innocent until adjudicated guilty in a court of law.”

On February 28, 2024, Wednesday, Lauren Boebert shared about her feelings about her son’s arrest. She accepted that the incident had broken her heart. However, she lets her son bear the responsibility for his actions.
She said, “I love my son Tyler, who has been through some very difficult, public challenges for a young man, and the subject of attention that he didn’t ask for. It breaks my heart to see my child struggling and, in this situation, especially when he has been provided multiple opportunities to get his life on track. I will never give up on him and I will continue to be there for him. As an adult and father, Tyler will take responsibility for his actions and should be held accountable for poor decisions just like any other citizen.”
Tyler Jay Boebert was arrested after six weeks of arrest of Jayson Boebert, his dad. Jayson Boebert and Lauren Boebert got divorced in 2023. They were married for 18 years.
However, the congresswoman, Lauren Boebert switched to conservative 4th District from Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District to enhance her chances of reelection.
