A 35-year-old man, Benjamin Taylor, was apprehended on March 16, 2024, in Imperial County, California. Taylor is accused of murdering two children and their mother, according to Charlotte Alerts.
The victims have been identified as 22-year-old Markayla Johnson and her two children, 7-month-old Messiah Johnson and 4-year-old Miracle Johnson, in Charlotte, NC.
The mother along with her kids had been missing since March 3, 2024. The family notified the cops when the kids and the mother had not been seen or heard. They were found dead in Orchard Trace Lane Charlotte, NC, at an apartment complex.
According to CBS17, Cops got a search warrant to enter the 22-year-old’s apartment after weeks of disappearance. Upon entering, cops found the mother and her 2 kids dead.

Benjamin Taylor was tracked down on March 15 in California. He worked at Strickland Brothers 10-minute Oil Change.
All of a sudden, Benjamin Taylor stopped his job and texted his superior that he had to leave as something personal came up.
Taylor faces one count of concealing death and three counts of murder. He is currently awaiting extradition to North Carolina.
