Ariana Grande and her ex-husband, Dalton Gomez, have finalized their divorce, and the former has agreed to make a one-time payment of $1.25 million to Gomez. The couple had announced their divorce last September.

Ariana Grande to Pay Dalton Gomez $1.25 Million in Divorce Settlement

The couple had reached a settlement last October but had to wait for the mandatory six months for the judge’s order to come into effect. Grande will also not be liable to pay Gomez any future alimony since the couple had signed a prenuptial agreement before the marriage.

Earlier, there were rumors that infidelity was the main reason for the marriage to end, especially after Grande’s ‘Eternal Sunshine’ album: ‘You Played Me Like Atari’. The marriage of the couple lasted just a little over two years before they applied for legal separation in September.

It was later revealed by Ariana Grande that she is dating ‘Wicked’ co-star, Ethan Slater. The latter had also applied for divorce from his wife, Lilly Jay, and the couple has a 1-year-old child.

Lilly later was involved in a verbal spat with Ariana, who she accused of destroying her marriage. She also labeled Ariana as “not a girl’s girl.” Gomez is also moving on and is reported to be dating Maika Monroe and was seen with the actress in Mexico.

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez, who was a real estate agent, started dating one another in January 2020, and Ariana confirmed her relationship with Gomez in May. The couple was featured dancing together in the music video of Ariana and Justin Bieber named “Stuck with U”, Gomez regularly featured in the Instagram posts of Ariana, and the couple was seen quarantined together during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In December 2020, Grande confirmed that both are engaged in her Instagram post. The couple tied the knot in a very private ceremony in May 2021 with less than 20 guests.

However, their relationship did not last long, and by July 2023, there were rumors that the couple was drifting apart. Ariana’s hectic schedules post-pandemic were believed to be the precipitating factor for the couple to slowly drift apart. Her celebrity status only exacerbated the drift, and when Ariana Grande went to England to shoot for ‘Wicked,’ things reached a point of no return.
