Thiruvananthapuram, March 27: Kerala BJP President K. Surendran has accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of cheating the voters of the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat. Surendran, who will be contesting the upcoming polls in Wayanad on a BJP ticket, made the statement during a welcome event in Wayanad district.

Hundreds of BJP supporters welcomed Surendran at Kalpetta town, waving hands and praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his road show. Surendran emphasized the need for development in Wayanad and expressed confidence that under PM Modi’s leadership, the constituency will prosper.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Rahul Gandhi won Wayanad by a huge margin of 4.31 lakh votes.
